Netaji Subhas Training Institute of Agricultural Marketing
Fourteen days residential training for the members of Self Help Ghosthies/Self Help Groups has been introduced in this year for the first time. By utilizing the expertise of the Staffs of Training and Canning Centers under Directorate of Agricultural Marketing, Govt. of West Bengal for the total training purpose, 7 numbers of 14 days residential course at Netaji Subhas Training Institute of Agricultural Marketing, where the members of the Self-help Gosthies working in Fruits & Vegetables Preservation sector has been trained .Training and Canning Center, Chinsura, Hoogly was with this training program as the venue for the practical classes
Additionally One time financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh was provided to each of the 7 Self Help Gosthies for procurement of mercenaries/ accessories/ reagents for establishing Fruit Processing units

Total 126 candidates from the following districts had successfully completed training.
Total 27.99631 lakh was utilized from State Budget and RKVY in the financial year 2014-15 for this training purpose.
